Hello December!

Today was a very fitting day to the start of December, cold and snowy.  Nothing much exciting happened today, Caitlin went off to school/work and Tom hung around the house working on the computer.  Tom went for a bike ride and asked if I wanted to go but I decided to stay at home, and i am glad i did!  It is really cold and Tom rode to the top of the ski hill.  20 degrees and snow guns ablaze is not much fun.

Before dinner my sister Mocha and I went outside for a while.  Mocha started following her nose and wandered off.  I stayed near the house and came in quickly when called, but Mocha was still off wandering.  After some time she appeared on the porch and Tom let her in.  She smelled like human food and was licking her chops.  Tom decided to investigate and went outside to follow her tracks in the snow.  Sure enough he found that they led over to the neighbors house where she was probably taking free handouts....No dinner for her tonight.   I still got my normal organic dog food rations and now am comfortably relaxing on the couch again.  :)

Another warm day Nov 30

Snowman on the roof!
So the weather was warm once again today and i didn't spend much time outside because it was raining most of the day.  The clouds parted for a short bit and it was over 60 degrees in the sun!  Master was very upset because his snowman that he had built and put Christmas lights on last night melted.  He did however get a picture of it before it met its doom.  Building it on the pinnacle of the roof did not help much when it came to stability and it tumbled right over!
The tiger puzzle!

I spent most of my time inside under the puzzle table because my masters were determined to finish the tiger puzzle they started a week ago.  I enjoyed listening to the cursing about stripes and was helping by hiding puzzle pieces when they occasionally knocked one on the floor. :)

After they completed the puzzle master Tom and I started work on the newest feature to my blog, a live webcam!  I am not sure how often I will use it but it was fun to set up.  For now anyway you can check it out in the upper right corner of the blog!  We set it up through "anywebcam.com"  I am not endorsing it by any means and don't really like it....but it is free and free is good!  Here is a screenshot of it in operation if it's offline when your reading this.
Thats it there, hi-lighted in red if you can't find it
The webcam is currently in the kitchen so you might get to see me eating.... or my masters eating....or making food or whatever other mundane activities occur in the kitchen.    My bowl is that round thing in the lower right corner of the screen, right next to the woodstove.  If its night and there is nothing to display the camera will go offline, just FYI.

Well thats about all there is for today, now I am just relaxing and writing this.  If of course you are wondering how and where I go about writing this here is a picture.  I like to work on the couch in my comfortable evening clothes all stretched out on a pillow.  Since I live such a stressful life I need a good bit of relaxing in the evening.  Peace :)
A relaxing evening working on my blog

November 29 and 45 degrees!

Sister and I with the snow roll!
Today was warm!  Very unusual for this time of year but it got up to 45 degrees and everything started melting.  My master took us outside to play and we built a snowman in our field.....well part of one....or more like just the base.  Anyway we built a big ball of snow... in the end it was more like a roll, like one of those big rolls of hay in a field.  Right after we finished it my sister started diggin in it, trying to destroy it and I jumped on top to keep it from rolling away!

Hunting for the critters under the back deck

After building the snowball master went up on the roof to do some work and sister and I kept playing in the snow for a while.  While over by the back porch I thought I heard a critter and started hunting.  I sniffed and ran around the house looking for the critter and finally got it pinpointed.  I was so involved in trying to catch whatever critter it may be that I did not even hear my master calling.  When i finally gave up the hunt my master was frantically calling for me.  I stuck my head out to find him but was afraid that he might yell at me for not coming, so i ducked back where he wouldn't see me, but he had.  I could tell by his tone that he wasn't mad so I went to him happily.  He did say in a somewhat upset tone that I was a bit dirty from "crawlin around down there" and that I need a bath, but he hasn't given me one yet, probably because I just got a bath last week.  I like warm weather, my paws don't freeze and master likes to play with us outside!  Today was fun!

My first Post!

So this is my first posting to my new blog!  I am actually not sure what to say but I guess I just intend this to be something to pass some time and share my experiences with you.  So.....I will start with a little about myself.  I am yellow in color or as some see it golden.  Here is a photo of me!
I am an orphan but was recently adopted by a great couple in Michigans Upper peninsula.  My previous master was not very nice and left me tied outside without any food or water when she went out of town.  A nice police officer came and picked me up and took me to a shelter.  I was very scared but within only two days my current masters found me and took me home.  It has taken a bit to get used to the switch but i am really liking it here.  I have a sister they call Mocha who is much larger than I.   Here is a picture of my whole family!

Its nearing Christmas and we just took this picture today!  We had a very nice day at home decorating for the holidays.  I laid under the table and watched as my masters set up the tree and lights!  My male master (Tom) made a stew for dinner and invited my female masters (Caitlin) family over for dinner!  We watched some silly movie and i got to curl up on the couch with Cait and her sister!  It was great!

Thats all I have got for now but this has been fun!  I will hopefully write again soon!
